Overall it's a great hip belt. But with the padding coming in at about 25.5" wide it doesn't quite wrap all the way around my hips, making it less efficient than it could be. My only other criticism is the lack or vertical straps to further secure it to my pack, and it can be slightly difficult to really tighten down. But it's really well made and the materials are great, and the price is great.
